In a paean to the aperitivo culture, the aesthetic of this unreservedly Italian-inspired restaurant transports its guests into the warm atmosphere of an old, sophisticated Milanese caffè.

Totalizing 1,800 sqft, this true all’italiana lifestyle caffè can accommodate 60 seats, with an additional 18 places on the seasonal terrace facing the water. Referring to the past in order to innovate, most of its elements were restored, sourced from local antique dealers or custom made by the firm.

Avoiding the temptation of ephemeral trends, the composition is rather expressive. Teal color scheme and warm hues, exuberant eye-catching pendant lights, swirly marble walls, sleek ceiling and wall paneling are all tied together by chromatic mosaic-tiled floor.

 Besides the unique floor pattern, custom designed components include linear lighting profiles, velvet banquettes and the prominent bar. The potential wear of new materials was also a considerable factor of choice. The curved pewter bar - uncommon in the city’s landscape - is expected to age with a patina that will still breathe life into the bar long after its installation.
